For me, it would be a message that speaks to comfort, companionship, and a unique kind of healing. That message is: Duty Danes: Taking the Blues Away and Adding a Special Kind of Blue, Healing Hearts One Paw at a Time.
Our Mission
Duty Danes is here to help those dealing with mental health issues. We believe in providing the kind of assistance and comfort that only these special dogs can give. It is about healing and finding a way forward, one paw at a time. Our dogs have the potential to go on for further training to become service or therapy dogs for those who need that extra level of support.
A Special Kind of Blue
When people talk about the blues, they are often talking about depression. At Duty Danes, we turn that around. My dogs are a beautiful blue color, and I have always loved blues music. Like a good blues song that has an upbeat vibe to make you feel alive, these dogs help you wake up and come around. We take the blues of depression and replace them with our special kind of blue.
The Dogs and the Future
I am including images of my girls and our boy to show you their different colors. Each one brings their own light to this mission. We also have our up-and-coming blue litter. These puppies, including Griot (pronounced gree-oh), represent the next generation of healing that we are so excited to share.
