We are committed to taking the longer, more challenging road to ensure the health of our puppies, and we plan to conduct comprehensive health screening on all our breeding dogs as they mature and reach testing age. Because of this deep commitment, we confidently offer a One-Year Health Guarantee against specified genetic conditions, which is detailed in our official Applications and Contracts. Our extensive screening plan includes:
• Embark and AKC DNA Genetic Health Screenings
• Color Testing (including Ragnar’s test from a specialized lab)
• Further extensive health testing
While these future tests are a vital part of responsible breeding, we understand that they are not a 100% guarantee. Some genetic issues can skip generations and still appear later. We stand by our promise to take the longer, more challenging road to health, but we also believe in transparency and honesty with our future families. While health testing gives us the best start, a dog’s well-being is also greatly influenced by environmental factors such as proper nutrition, appropriate exercise, and dedicated veterinary care throughout their life
