HEALING HEARTS ONE PAW AT A TIME

In the world of Great Danes, there is a difference between a pet and a prospect. Jennifer Thompson, the founder of Duty Danes, knows that difference personally. This book tells the raw and honest story of how Duty Danes came to be, born of a passion for the Apollo of Dogs and a mission to produce puppies with the rock-solid temperament required for the life of a service-dog prospect.

Through personal experience and a deep commitment to the breed, Jennifer shares the challenges and triumphs of building a kennel dedicated to excellence. It is a story of learning the science of genetics, the importance of structural soundness, and the dedication it takes to raise giants capable of handling the demands of public access.

Follow the journey of how one woman’s vision turned into a respected kennel, and discover what it truly takes to breed the next generation of service dog prospects. This is the story of Duty Danes, where heart meets purpose, one paw at a time.
