If you could have something named after you, what would it be?
If I could have something named after me, I would want it to be a scholarship to help the next generation learn to truly understand and work with these dogs. It would be the Jenny “Boo” Thompson Junior Great Dane Scholarship, focused on helping young people get involved with training and the dedication it takes to better this breed. Beyond that, I think it would be incredible to have a soulful blues song about Duty Danes and my mission of healing hearts one paw at a time for those struggling with mental health.
What does “healing hearts” mean to you when it comes to the bond between a person and their Great Dane?
