Dear 100-year-old me,
I hope you are sitting on a sturdy porch in Florida, still surrounded by the lean-on-your-hip presence of a loyal Great Dane. I hope the legacy of Duty Danes has grown into the sanctuary we dreamed of, where temperament and service have changed lives just as much as these dogs have changed ours.
I hope this work has become a true family legacy, passed down from my sons to my grandsons and through the generations. My greatest wish is that our family continues healing hearts one paw at a time, long after these early days of whelping puppies and building websites are distant memories. I hope you still look at a sunset and see the same beauty we do today, with a heart as full as a house overflowing with giant paws and wagging tails.
